Toolstia / Image resizer for social platforms

Resize images for any platform

Pick a platform preset or type your own size, choose how the picture fits, and download the result. It runs in your browser, so your images stay on your device.

Drop images here, or click to choose

Up to 30 images at a time. Nothing is uploaded.

How it works

  1. Drop one or more images.
  2. Pick a size preset or enter a custom width and height.
  3. Choose crop, fit or stretch, then download each result.

Crop, fit or stretch

Crop fills the whole frame and trims the edges that do not fit. Fit keeps the whole picture and adds background bars. Stretch forces the exact size and may distort the image.

About the preset sizes

Presets use commonly recommended sizes. Platforms change their guidance from time to time, so check the platform if an exact size matters.

Enlarging images

Making an image bigger than the original cannot add detail, so enlarged images can look soft. The tool warns you when a result is larger than its source.

Format and quality

JPEG gives the smallest files for photos, PNG keeps sharp edges and transparency, and WebP is a good balance on the web. Because the image is redrawn from its pixels, the original file metadata is not carried over.

Questions

Are my images uploaded?

No. Resizing happens in your browser tab and nothing is sent to a server.

Can I resize many images at once?

Yes. Drop several files and the same size and options are applied to all of them. Each result has its own download link.

What is the largest size I can make?

Up to 6000 pixels on each side. Very large results depend on your device memory.

Which preset should I use for Instagram?

Square posts are commonly 1080 x 1080, portrait posts 1080 x 1350, and Stories and Reels 1080 x 1920. Pick the matching preset in the list.
