Clean AI text for Word and Google Docs
Copying from an AI chat often brings stray symbols: ## headings, **bold** markers, odd bullets and broken tables. Paste the text here and get a clean version you can copy into Word, Google Docs or an email.
Your text stays in your browser and is not sent anywhere.
The formatted result appears here.
How it works
- Paste the text from your AI chat.
- Choose your options: remove symbols, emoji, curly quotes.
- Copy it as formatted text, copy plain text, or download a Word file.
What it converts
Headings, bold, italic, bullet and numbered lists, block quotes, code blocks, links and simple tables are turned into real formatting. Anything it does not recognise is left as written.
Formatted copy vs plain text
The formatted copy puts real formatting on your clipboard, so headings and lists arrive formatted when you paste into Word or Docs. Plain text removes the markup symbols and keeps the words and line breaks.
About the Word download
The download is a .doc file that Word and most word processors open. It is HTML-based, so Word may open it in compatibility mode; use Save As in Word if you need a .docx file.
It does not rewrite anything
Only formatting symbols change, plus emoji and quote style if you switch those options on. The words stay exactly as they were.
Questions
Does it work with output from Gemini, Claude and other chatbots?
Yes. Most chatbots write in Markdown, and this tool understands the common parts of it.
Why do tables paste oddly into Word?
Use "Copy for Word / Docs" rather than plain text. Tables are copied as real tables, which Word and Docs keep. In plain text, table cells are separated by tabs.
Is there a length limit?
There is no fixed limit. Very long texts may feel slower, because everything is processed in your browser.
Is my text saved or sent anywhere?
No. The conversion happens on your device and nothing is stored.
